Message I am not sure how many people have installed there Snow Performance water injection, but this is what I have found so far, and might help someone else.
If you install the injectors anywhere near a sense line for other components it will get water in the line. In my case I installed the injectors in the metal pipe just before the rubber boost hoses that go to the throttle bodies (not the throttle bodies). First I got water in my sense line going to the control module for the water injection. I used the factory nipple on the bottom of the boost pipe on the drivers side. This location is about an inch upstream of the injector. Now you would think the flow of air into the engine would keep water from going into the sense line also because also because the injector is past the sense line. But I guess the force and cone shape of the injected water is enough to force the water into that sense line.
Next on the passenger side I also started getting water in the line that goes to my boost control solenoid. I tried a filter to see if that would help but its just too much water getting in the sense line. I now need to find another source for that line (for the boost solenoid) and I am thinking somewhere on the plenum. But I am not sure that would be a good location because its behind the throttle plate. Any ideas? I could relocate the water injection nozzles some where else. But then I would have two holes to repair and I am not sure of a better location for the nozzles.
The last problem I am having is the controller is set to come on at 10PSI (and max out at 25)of boost and it does that sometimes. But then for no reason it will start coming on at a lower PSI about 5PSI. I don't think its heat related because all the components are installed under the nose panel.
Other than that the kit kicks ass. Anyone else having problems with the kit?
